ejoy is an online wedding invitation app published by HTMedia. It turns your wedding invitation into a page of your own: you pick a design, add your names, your date and your events, and ejoy publishes the page at a web address you choose. You share one link, and your guests open it in a browser to see the invitation, reply with an RSVP, leave a wish and add photos to a shared album.
These Terms and this Privacy Policy apply to the ejoy mobile app and to the invitation pages it publishes on weddingplan.online. They do not apply to Wedding Plan, a separate app by the same publisher with its own terms.
ejoy is free to download, and free to build, publish and share your invitation. Some features are optional paid unlocks — see section 6. We do not print anything, we do not send messages to your guests on your behalf, and we do not act as a wedding planner or vendor.
You need an account to create an invitation. You can sign up with an email address, or with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. You must be at least 13 years old — see section B.8.
Everything you put into your invitation — names, photos, story, event details, music choice — stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to display it on your invitation page, which is what the app is for.
When you add guests — by typing them in or importing them from your phone's contacts — you are the one deciding to collect that information, and you are responsible for having a proper basis to do so under the law that applies to you. We store and process it on your behalf, only to run your invitation and RSVP. We do not contact your guests ourselves, and we never sell or rent guest information to anyone.
Guests can leave wishes and add album photos. Those are user-generated content: you can delete any wish or photo from your own page, and you can report content to us at the address in section B.11. We remove content that breaks these rules, and we may suspend an account that keeps breaking them.
ejoy sells one-time in-app purchases through the App Store and Google Play. They unlock premium designs, extra events, more album storage, the gift box, and music and effects on your page. There is no auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us — we never see your card. Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought from, under that store's policy. We can help you find the right form, but we cannot issue a store refund ourselves.
We may add, change or remove features. We work to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You can stop using ejoy at any time and ask us to delete your account (section B.7). We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5, or if we are required to by law.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
| What | Why | Where it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Email address, display name and profile picture from the sign-in you choose (email, Apple, Google) | To create your account and let you sign back in | Our servers |
| Your wedding content: names, date, story, event times and places, photos, music choice, page design | To build and publish your invitation page | Our servers, and shown publicly on your page |
| Your guest list: the names and contact details you enter or import | To run the guest list, personal links and RSVP counts | Our servers. Only you see the list |
| RSVP replies, wishes and album photos from your guests | To show you who is coming, and to fill your page and album | Our servers. Wishes and album photos appear on your page |
| Gift box details: the bank account name and number you enter | To draw the QR code on your page so guests can send a gift | Our servers, and shown on your page when you enable the gift box |
| Purchase receipts from the App Store or Google Play | To verify a purchase and unlock what you bought | Our servers. No card details ever reach us |
| Technical data: app version, device model, operating system version, crash reports, and which screens are opened | To fix crashes and understand which features are used | Firebase and Repro — see section 4 |
We do not collect your location. ejoy has no advertising SDK, shows no ads, and does not build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
| Permission | Asked when | If you say no |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts | Only when you tap "Import from contacts" on the guest list | You can still add every guest by hand. Contacts you do not import are never read or uploaded |
| Photos | When you choose a photo for your invitation or album, or save a QR code | You can publish an invitation without your own photos |
| Camera | When you scan a QR code | You can type or paste a link instead |
| Notifications | To tell you when an RSVP, a wish or an album photo arrives | Everything still works; you check in the app instead |
No screen is blocked because you refused a permission.
We process your account and wedding content to perform our contract with you; technical and crash data on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working; and anything you have explicitly asked for — such as importing contacts — on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings.
We use a small number of service providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
| Provider | What for | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google — Firebase (authentication, push notifications, crash reporting, analytics) | Sign-in, notifications, crash and usage reporting | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google — Google Sign-In | Signing in with a Google account | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases | Signing in, and taking payment | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Google Play billing | Taking payment on Android | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Repro | Product analytics and in-app messaging | repro.io/privacy |
| Cloudflare | Storing and serving the images on your page | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
We also disclose data if the law requires it, and to a buyer if the business is sold — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
Our servers and our providers are located in several countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in, including outside the EEA. Where that happens we rely on the providers' own transfer safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop a particular use. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
ejoy is not for children. It is meant for people planning a wedding and is not directed at anyone under 13 — or under 16 where local law sets that age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. We limit who can reach production data. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
We may update this page. The effective date at the top always shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app before a change that materially affects you takes effect.
