Our Wedding Day

We’re about to begin a new chapter in our lives, and we truly couldn’t imagine doing it without you there.
We’re so happy you’ll be joining us to celebrate, have a laugh, and create some unforgettable memories together.

Here’s what the day (and night!) will look like:

1) Ceremony
We’re keeping the ceremony short and sweet—no long speeches or “blah-blah,” we promise.
The venue is booked for one hour only (yes, just one!), so timing is everything.
Please try to arrive on time so you don’t miss the important part… us getting married.

2) Boat Trip
We wanted you to experience a little bit of Hungary with us.
We’ve planned a boat trip so you can take in the views and enjoy this beautiful place.

3) Dancing & Hungarian Traditions
Hungarian weddings involve a lot of dancing—and we mean a lot.
Here’s how the evening will unfold:

Step 1: Setting the Mood
When the bride is in her white dress for the first dance, please take out your phone and turn on the flashlight.
It creates a lovely atmosphere (and makes everything feel a bit magical).

Step 2: The Plot Twist
Just when everything is going nicely… the bride will be suddenly “kidnapped” from the crowd.
Yes, this is completely normal.
She’ll only be returned if the groom successfully completes a challenge—so let’s hope he’s been preparing for this.
A Strategic Dress Change
While the groom is being tested (and possibly questioning his life choices), the bride will take the perfect opportunity to change into her red dress.

Step 3: The Comeback – “Eladó a menyasszony!”
Once she’s back, you might hear some enthusiastic shouting of
“Eladó a menyasszony!” — meaning “the bride is for sale (for a DANCE 😉 ).” Lol
This is where you come in:
You’ll be invited to join the dance floor for a few simple steps with the bride.
You can queue up for your turn.
A small cash contribution is part of the tradition.
The goal? To help the bride “earn” some money and prove to the groom that she’s worth keeping… so she’ll be counting on you!

4) Games
If you know us, this won’t come as a surprise.
There will be games throughout the evening.
Probably more than expected 😉
And very likely a bit of chaos along the way.
There’s no Hungarian wedding without games—and since we love them anyway, you’re all in for it.

5) A Note on Attire
Your presence is our greatest gift! If you’d like to join in our theme, please wear any color of your choice, excluding black, red, and white.
