First Meeting
I first saw David in 2017 at a church wedding — a sister's wedding in my town. We were in the same space, breathing the same air, and yet we never said a word to each other. I didn't know then that God was already writing something beautiful in the background. Fast forward to October 2023. I reached out to David on Instagram , asking for his support during my pageantry competition, the same way I messaged other friends. I didn't win, but honestly? Having David in my corner made it one of the most fun experiences of my life. He was so supportive, so genuinely there for me. We began talking, and the conversations never really found a reason to stop. By the close of that same month, we found ourselves speaking more intentionally and we looked at what we were building and chose to name it. It was a mutual decision, arrived at honestly, and it felt nothing short of magical. What struck me most as I came to know David was not just his sweetness, his calm, or his gentle spirit ,..it was his faith. David is a godly man and a devout Christian, and there is a quiet strength in him that can only come from a life truly surrendered to God. In that, I found not just a partner but a covering. Then on December 14th, 2023, David came to Abuja. I was filled with excitement — the kind that comes from finally meeting in person the man you had already come to know in every other way. He was everything I expected and more. Since that day, our story has been written in shared memories, photographs, laughter, and the quiet joy of planning a future together. Every detail reminds me of how intentional this love has been and how grateful I am that God brought David into my life.

Our love story
From Instagram to Forever. Every beautiful love story has a beginning, and ours started on Instagram in October 2023. At first, it was just a simple connection. A message here, a conversation there. What began as casual chats quickly grew into something special. Day after day, Deborah and I found ourselves talking more, learning about each other’s dreams, values, and hopes for the future. Despite the distance between us, our hearts grew closer with every conversation. As the months passed, I became certain that Deborah was someone extraordinary. Her kindness, intelligence, beautiful heart, and the way she made me smile even from miles away made me eager to meet her in person. Then came December 14, 2023—a day I will never forget. I traveled to Abuja to finally meet the woman who had already captured my heart. The excitement, anticipation, and joy I felt on that journey were beyond words. Seeing Deborah for the first time was a moment that made every conversation, every phone call, and every message worthwhile. My visit to Abuja was filled with some of the happiest memories of my life. We spent precious time together, shared laughter, had meaningful conversations, visited beautiful places, and created memories that remain fresh in my heart to this day. Every moment spent together strengthened the bond we had built over the months. What made our relationship even more special was that our love was not based only on feelings but on friendship, understanding, trust, and commitment. We learned to support each other through challenges and celebrate each other’s victories. Today, our intentions toward each other remain as strong as ever. Through every season, our love has continued to grow deeper and stronger. We still cherish the memories of Abuja while looking forward to creating many more beautiful moments together in the future. From a simple Instagram connection in October 2023 to a love that continues to flourish today, our story reminds us that sometimes the most beautiful things begin with a simple message. And as we continue this journey together, I am grateful for every memory we have shared, every lesson we have learned, and every moment that has brought us closer.
